At MBU Interiors, the furniture design process that goes into building each custom furnishing allows us to treat our customers to truly exceptional furniture. While the actual work completed will vary with each custom order, we follow the same steps no matter what type of furniture we are building.
Initial Consultation
During the initial consultation, we will take the time to learn about exactly what your needs are for custom furniture. We can work with you to gather the information. After we have a clear understanding of exactly what you desire, we will give you a custom quote that will clearly detail the costs of the project as well as how long it will take us to custom build your furniture.
Design
With our design process, we’ll work with you to create the absolute best piece to complement your interior, meet your seating needs and suit your tastes. We will discuss the styles of frames available with you and help you select the one that will best coordinate with the theme of your decor or totally draw up a design for you. You’ll also be given the freedom to choose the type of padding to get the level of softness or firmness that you desire. Our team will help you choose the right fabric upholstery to complement your flooring, window treatments and other elements in your space. Only when you’re fully satisfied with the custom design will we go to work.
Construction
After we have your final approval on the design, we will go to work building your furniture. We draw on our years of experience to create the most durable piece of furniture possible and to maximize the luxury of every piece that we make.
